Jason Walter

Jason has been promoted to Director of Golf. He will oversee any and all daily operations of Golf, Golf Pro Shop, Outside Services and Valet. Jason will report directly to the General Manager in his new Role.

Jason has been a member in good standing of the Professional Golfers Association for 25 years and has been working in the golf industry for 36 years.  Jason and his family recently moved back to Phoenix, AZ from Northern California where he spent the past 12 years working at Diablo Country Club, serving the Club in many roles such as the Director of Golf, Director of Membership, and most recently as the Assistant General Manager.  Jason is very excited to be working in the Southwest Section of the PGA and to be affiliated with the Country Club at DC Ranch. 

Jason has worked 8 years in the public, for-profit sector and the past 30 years in the private non-profit sector, gaining valuable experience in managing, leading, and building brands for private equity clubs and real-estate driven developments.  He has experience in all areas of club management including strategic planning, large-scale capitalization projects, as well as managing and operating major championships on the AJGA, LPGA, and Champions tour. 

Prior to Diablo Country Club and the Country Club at DC Ranch, Jason was the Director of Golf at Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club for 6 years, he was the Director of Golf and Club Operations at the Club at Hokulia for five years, and he spent eight years working at the Desert Mountain Club once he graduated from Colorado State University in 1993. 

Jason has been married for 24 years and will be celebrating his 25th wedding anniversary this September.  He and his wife, Dawn have four children and enjoy an active lifestyle keeping up with their kids and enjoying the outdoors hiking, fishing, and playing golf
