Dick Hyland, who has been our Senior Vice President of Golf and Agronomy, and who has contributed so much to The Country Club at DC Ranch and the wonderful Game of Golf as a whole…”Dick, The Country Club at DC Ranch, is where it is in the Golf World, due to you, and all of your efforts and endeavors…and for that  we say, THANK YOU..!!.” Dick will now move into an Ambassador role with the club, continuing to grow the game of golf as well as representing our Golf Interest within the various groups and organizations (PGA / USGA / Arizona Alliance for Golf / Water Board etc…), not mention all of the Men’s and Lady’s Club Tournaments and our upcoming Golf Course Improvement Project. Dick will continue to report directly to the General Manager in his new role.

Dick Hyland brings over 30 years of experience and numerous awards to The Country Club at DC Ranch and is recognized as one of the top performers in the golf business. Throughout his career, Hyland has participated in the design and start-up of 12 courses, implemented global planning for club operations, and has been recognized for his expertise of managing golf professionals, agronomy teams and retail personnel.  Hyland was recently inducted into the Arizona Golf Hall of Fame.  

As a PGA Class A Professional, Hyland serves as the Director of Golf at The Country Club at DC Ranch and oversees the employees, operations and daily business for the golf course, as well as teaches lessons. Hyland’s background in the golf industry will expand The Country Club at DC Ranch’s prominence in the golf community. 

For more than 15 years, Hyland coordinated Golf Digest and Nicklaus Flick golf schools, and was an instructor of PGA of American Business Schools and Teaching workshops. His many personal awards include PGA Professional of the Year in Florida and Arizona, the National PGA award winner for Merchandiser of the Year, and was a SWSPGA Bill Strausbaugh award winner for club and community relations. Hyland has lived in Arizona for more than 20 years, and currently resides in Pinnacle Peak with his wife. He recently became a grandfather.
