Cody Barden

Cody is one of the top PGA Teaching Professionals in the United States. He has worked internationally in Mexico and China and most recently served as Director of Instruction at Cabo Del Sol Golf Club in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. He enjoys working with players of all ability levels and has instructed on the PGA TOUR for 15 years. He credits noted professionals Jack Lumpkin, Jim Flick and Eddie Merrins as mentors in his teaching and coaching career. Previously, Cody served as Director of Instruction at White Columns CC in Alpharetta, Georgia where he was honored as Georgia PGA Teacher of the Year (2008) and nominated for Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Teaching Professionals. Earlier stops included The Country Club of Birmingham (AL) and The Tournament Players Club at Sawgrass (FL). In 1995 Cody earned NCAA West Coast Conference Coach of the Year honors at Pepperdine University. His work has been covered in Sports Illustrated, Golfweek and Golf World magazines and he’s been a featured instructor on USA Network, Comcast Sports and Golf Channel. He is a big fan of the 2021 World Champion Atlanta Braves and his favorite student is 9 year old daughter Charley.
